Full Card Announced for UFC 209

UFC 209’s full fight card has taken shape – Five fights on the main card, four fights in the prelims and one UFC Fight Pass Exclusive prelim.

The full fight card for UFC 209 has been officially announced, with Tyron Woodley vs Stephen Thompson taking top billing. The two fought for the Welterweight Championship at UFC 205 last year, with the fight being ruled as a majority draw.

Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson will battle for the Interim Lightweight Championship in the co-main event. The winner will presumably face Conor McGregor, the current UFC Lightweight Champion, upon his return from a hiatus.

Rashad Evans is set to make his long-awaited middleweight debut against Dan Kelly. Evans was twice scheduled to face Tim Kennedy, but due to numerous reasons, the fight never materialised.

UFC 209 will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Paradise, Nevada on the 4th of March.
