The two light heavyweights will finally meet for a second time

UFC light heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier and Anthony Johnson will finally square off for a second time at UFC 210 on 8th of April.

The two light heavyweights where scheduled to meet for the second time back at UFC 206 in December but the bout was cancelled as Cormier picked up a groin injury. The second meeting between the two was confirmed by Cormier on Wednesday night during UFC Tonight and then later confirmed the bout on his instagram account.

“I want to let the great fans that bought tickets for UFC 206 in Toronto that this one is for you.” Cormier told “Ninety-nine miles is as close as I could get to make it up to you. That was very important to me. Thank you for the support, and I’ll see you in Buffalo.”

Cormier won the first clash between the two at UFC 187 back in 2015 via a third round submission to claim the then vacant, UFC light heavyweight championship after Jon Jones was stripped of the title due to legal issues from a hit and run accident he was involved in.

UFC 210 will be the promotions first event in Buffalo since 1995 at UFC 7Gegard Mousasi and Chris Weidman will also meet at the event in a highly anticipated middleweight clash.

Who do you think will be victorious in the second clash between the two? Will Jon Jones face the winner? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
