Daniel Cormier has unfinished business with Jon Jones

“My life and career would not be okay if I had to walk away and not share the Octagon with that man again.” – Daniel Cormier

“My life and career would not be okay if I had to walk away and not share the Octagon with that man again.” - Daniel Cormier

UFC light heavyweight champion, Daniel Cormier has unfinished business with former light heavyweight champion, Jon “Bones” Jones as he would like to avenge the only loss on his record.

The two light heavyweights have had the whole world absorbed by their heated, near three year rivalry. With Jones winning the first bout, the two were set to meet again at UFC 200 but Jones was suspended for using PEDs leading up to the fight. Cormier has since been matched with number one contender, Anthony Johnson but that bout fell through when Cormier withdrew from the contest with an injury.

Jones was given a one year suspension “But you know what, Colin, yes I would fight him. It doesn’t matter. I have to get the competitor in me and my belief in my coaches and my skill — I have to get that back.”
