Will it happen? Let's wait and see...

UFC President Dana White has stated that the most likely opponent for the winner of Daniel Cormier Vs. Anthony “Rumble” Johnson will be former champion Jon “Bones” Jones. Jon Jones was stripped of his belt when he was suspended for breaking USADA anti-doping rules ahead of UFC 200. Now it looks like he’ll get his shot at redemption. Cormier Vs. Johnson is scheduled for UFC 210 in April and according to White, there’s only one man who is likely to fight the champion.

Jones won’t be eligible for to fight until around July. White said the following on the UFC Unfiltered Podcast:

“Jon Jones is supposed to return around July so the timing is perfect. I haven’t talked to him. I haven’t talked to Jon Jones since the whole incident” -Dana White

However, it’s not certain what Jones wants to do:

“Depending on where Jon’s head is and where he thinks he is, I would assume he would come right back and try to get his title back.” -Dana White

We’ll need to wait and see who will be the winner of the fight at UFC 210, maybe it’ll be Bones Jones, maybe it won’t. All I know is, whoever wins at 210, if Jones was to fight them, it’d be a good one.
