Cyborg not interested in Rousey Fight

Coach Edmond believes Rousey could beat Cyborg – Cyborg isn’t interested

Early this week Ronda Rousey’s coach Edmond Tarverdyan suggested Rousey has one fight left in her, and her opponent should be Cris Cyborg.

Tarverdyan appeared on ‘The MMA Hour‘ and stated that Rousey could go one more fight and that Cris Cyborg would be the perfect match-up for her “That’s the one, I want that fight. When I trained Ronda, I know Ronda could beat Cyborg. I know that. Cyborg is too slow.” Edmond said

Cyborg has spoken about these comments saying that she is simply not interested in fighting Rousey anymore. A while ago that was the one fight Cyborg was gunning for, but with Rousey’s losses and her game now exposed Cris just doesn’t want it.

“If Ronda wants to come back for a fight, I believe it’s better for her to fight Miesha Tate. I’m in another stage of my career now. I wanted to fight Ronda when she was psychologically well and confident.” Cyborg said.

However, the 145lb champion, who is planning to take on the women who first exposed Rousey, Holly Holm, has stated she is open to fighting Rousey in a pro wrestling fight under the WWE banner.

“If she wants to make a good fight for the fans, we can make it at WWE. It would fit perfectly for her to go to Hollywood, and for me would be another challenge in my career. And something brilliant, her coach would fit perfectly in her corner in WWE. He’s nothing but a joke.”

Do you think Rousey would ever come close to beating Cyborg? sound off in the comments below.
