Cowboy is back with a bang

Donald Cerrone is once again victorious following three defeats on the bounce.

Donald Cerrone went into last nights nights main-event off the back of three consecutive defeats so knew the importance of getting back into the wins column. His opponent, Yancy Medeiros had won his previous three.

Both fighters were game for a throw-down as ever, and the pair delivered a thrilling round of action before ‘Cowboy‘ forced the stoppage with two seconds remaining on the clock for the round.

This victory was the 20th for Cerrone inside the UFC‘s octagon which levels him with Georges St-Pierre and Michael Bisping for the most in the company’s history.

“You know, they call me, I say ‘where are we going’ and that’s all I need to know” Cerrone said after.

Cowboy‘ will now be looking to make his way back up the welterweight rankings as quickly as possible following his recent slump which prior to last night most recently saw him stopped by Darren Till in the first round.

Medeiros dropped to 15-5 as he had a three-fight win streak snapped.
