WATCH: Floyd Mayweather brands Conor McGregor “a tough competitor”

Floyd Mayweather made his first public appearance since the super fight with Conor McGregor was made official at the “All Eyes on Me” movie premiere and was bound to be asked about the current UFC lightweight champion.  Mayweather spoke to BSO on the red carpet and praised McGregor. Mayweather was reluctant to say how much money he was making from the fight when asked by the reporter.

Mayweather said “People all around the world demanded this fight, so I had to give the people what they wanted to see. They asked for this fight, I was retired but they wanted me back. I’m back.  He continued “Both parties are very happy. He’s very happy, I’m very happy and I can’t wait. … Believe in Conor … he’s a hell of a competitor.”  You can see the full video below.
