RUMOUR: That McGregor And Mayweather Reach Agreement On Boxing Fight
Supposedly the two are done talking and are ready to fight.
A few sites including The Washington Post are reporting on rumours that boxing legend Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor have reached an agreement and finalised discussions on terms for possibly the richest fight in boxing history.
The two have been going at it for quite a few months now, back and forth over Twitter and various other platforms trying to negotiate who’ll get what, mostly however, they’ve just been jabbing at each other before the fight’s even started.
Now according to rumblings in the MMA community, the fight is going to go ahead. Nothing has been signed yet, but supposedly the two are done negotiating and waiting on papers. The fight is supposedly going to be sooner than we think too, if the fight is going to go ahead, it’s going to happen this year.
The Irish Sun made reference to a source close to McGregor stating that “The contract hasn’t officially been signed yet because of a third-party holdup, but all the details have all been agreed on. The fight could even be announced within two weeks.”
Who the third party is, is anybody’s guess. Maybe Dana White. Maybe not. With any luck we’ll have all our answers soon. Maybe even a date for the fight.
Keep an eye on MMA Thread for all the updates as we get them.
