Roy Jones Jr. wants Anderson Silva on McGregor vs Mayweather card

Roy Jones Jr. wants super fight with Anderson Silva on potential McGregor vs Mayweather Card

Conor McGregor vs Floyd Mayweather has become one of the most talked about topics in all of MMA and Boxing. Although there has been no agreement between both fighters, Roy Jones Jr. has the perfect co-headliner for the rumoured card, Jones wants to fight UFC middleweight, Anderson Silva. Taking to social media, Jones said both bouts would make the biggest event of all time.

Jones is still an active fighter, picking up the WBF cruiserweight title last weekend with an 8th-round TKO over Bobby Gunn, although the belt was vacant and Gunn had not fought in over three years so technically Jones isn’t taking out top-level guys.

Silva responded on Facebook by saying ‘all dreams need to be accomplished’ signalling that ‘The Spider’ is interested in the bout the Jones.

All a dream needs to be accomplished is someone who believes that it can be done.👊🏾🙏🏾👊🏾🙏🏾👊🏾🙏🏾 Tudo o que um sonho…

In his last bout at UFC 208, Silva picked up a very controversial win over Derek Brunson, in a fight where Silva looked far from great the possibility of a freak show fight with Jones would be something fans could get behind.
