Fighter fails USADA test
The UFC light-heavyweight fighter has failed an August 8th test conducted by USADA – It is at this time not clear what he has failed on as USADA procedure states the violation details are withheld during results management processes.
The statement released by the UFC states that more information will be released as soon as possible and ‘at the appropriate time as the process moves forward’
Roehrick is a promotional new comer having only fought once for the UFC – This bout was a short notice fight against Jarod Cannonier at The Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale – He lost the fight via third round TKO after succumbing to elbows.
It is not clear at this time how long Reohrick will be suspended for, however standard first-time violations usually result in a 12-month suspension.
