McGregor gets into late night pub brawl with man with alleged ties to drugs kingpin

It looks as though Conor McGregor could be in trouble once again!

The Irish MMA superstar McGregor has been ‘off the rails’ as of late – Just a few weeks ago McGregor jumped the cage at Bellator 187 and pushed referee Marc Goddard, before slapping a Bellator official. Now according to various media reports McGregor was involved in a bar room brawl this past weekend.

The brawl is said to involve persons with links to well-known drugs kingpin Graham ‘The Wig’ Whelan. The Irish Gardai (Irish Police) are aware of the brawl which took place on Sunday night but have said no complaint has been made as of yet.

According to the Irish Independent McGregor hit a young man once in the head, and also assaulted a 50-year-old male who is said to be “completely innocent”.

McGregor was quickly thrown out of the pub and driven away by his entourage, the Irish Gardai have stated “there is no report on this matter and no complaint from any injured parties, patrons of the pub or the pub itself and no statements were taken.” The alleged assault according to the Independent, is said to be linked to an earlier attack by McGregor carried out this month.

Reports of the incident surfaced late Monday evening, with fans on Facebook writing posts about the incident, with one fan stating – “What a w****r. Always honoured his loyalty…until tonight… he came into his ‘local’ and he started on some poor innocent kid. punching him. I really hope it turns out that we got the wrong end of the stick. But I doubt it.”

Another poster on facebook stated “was drinking in Blackforge in Crumlin and McGregor came in and boxed the head of some poor chap out of his box.”
