Mayweather is struggling in training

Undefeated Mayweather admits he’s not the same fighter and is struggling

Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor square off in a ‘two worlds collide’ super fight on August 26th – In the lead up to the fight, Mayweather admits he’s struggling!

Mayweather said “I’m not the same fighter I was 21 years ago. Not event 10 years ago, or even two years ago. I spoke to Al Haymon and told him – “I can’t push my body, it’s gruelling. Training camp is gruelling, I can’t do it anymore. It’s rough. This has to be my last one fight.”

Mayweather further states that after he took a couple of years out of the sport, he was okay with the idea, but then this fight came along and it’s made him realise that this is really the end – He states “I really know this is it. Deep in my heart, I know it is”

On overlooking McGregor’s skills, Mayweather states that he isn’t doing that at all. “He’s a stand-up fighter, he’s never lost fighting straight up. I can’t overlook that, one shot can end your whole career. He’s a tough competitor but it is what is is. He’s a heavy hitter so I have to be cautious. It’s going to be a toe-to-toe battle”

The pair has met face to face last week for a series of press conferences to promote the upcoming August 26th fight at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
