Fight Announcement: Alan Jouban vs Brian Camozzi

Fight booked for UFC 213 in Las Vegas.

UFC 213 just got another fight added to its already stellar line-up.

This time it comes by way of a welterweight clash between Alan Jouban (15-5 MMA, 6-3 UFC) and Brian Camozzi (7-3 MMA, 0-1 UFC). The UFC announced the fight Tuesday evening. UFC 213 is set to be headlined by a title fight in the women’s bantamweight division as Amanda Nunes defends her UFC gold against top contender Valentina Shevchenko.

Jouban is coming into the fight off a submission loss to Gunnar Nelson at UFC Fight Night 107 this past March in London, this loss ended a three-fight win streak which saw him knock out Brendan O’Reilly, and two decision wins over Belal Muhammad and Mike Perry.

Brian “The Mantis” Camozzi made his promotional debut in December of 2016, the debut didn’t go to plan however as he suffered a second-round TKO loss to Randy “Rude Boy” Brown. Camozzi is now looking to get his first win under the UFC banner.

UFC 213 takes place July 8th in Las Vegas, as well as the headline title fight the pay per view card also features an interim title bout in the middleweight division between top contenders Yoel Romero and Australia’s Robert Whittaker – The winner is expected to face champion Michael Bisping at a later date.

UFC 213’s fight card is slowing beginning to materialise and the announced fight card thus far is:
