Dominick Cruz – ” I want the Cody Garbrandt rematch”

Will the best Bantamweight of all time get his rematch?

Dominick Cruz is yet to step foot inside the Octagon this year with his last UFC fight coming on December 30, 2016.

After reclaiming the Bantamweight title from TJ Dillashaw in 2016 and successfully defending it a couple of months later against bitter rival, Urijah Faber, fans began to question whether anyone in the division could stop Dominick Cruz, until Cody Garbrandt stepped up.

Even before their scheduled fight at UFC 207 took place, Dominick Cruz and Cody Garbrandt shared a minor hatred for one another from past events and both fighters were entering the bout high on emotion.

After a masterclass performance, heavy underdog Cody Garbrandt came away with the ‘W’ after a unanimous decision outcome went in his favour.

Since that day, Dominick Cruz has expressed his interest in a rematch with ‘No Love‘ and now that the Bantamweight champions proposed fight with top challenger TJ Dillashaw has been cancelled, ‘The Dominator‘ is in high hopes regarding the title fight.

While in an interview with TMZSports, Dominick Cruz shared his thoughts on the cancelled Bantamweight title fight and expressed his interest in the rematch.

Do you think Dominick Cruz should gain a title shot before TJ Dillashaw?
