The best bits from the eventful weekend at the new UFC athlete retreat

The brand new UFC athlete retreat opened this weekend with over 300 of the UFC’s roster in attendance, it was destined to be an eventful weekend.

The weekend event held at the UFC headquarters in Las Vegas was set up to help fighters refresh for the remainder of the year – as well as have lots of fun.  The fighters were kept busy with fairground rides, free custom reebok gear, guest speakers and even a Snoop Dogg performance to close in the weekend.  Many of the UFC fighters took to social media to share the experience with their fans around the world and we have compiled the best bits from what looked to be an amazing weekend.  You can see the best bits below.

Cris Cyborg apparently punched Angela Magana during the weekend but Aljamain Sterling took to twitter to let everybody know Cyborg also “punked” former middleweight champion, Chris Weidman.

To which Weidman confirmed…

John Dodson hanging out with Mighty Mouse.

The retreat also had a punching machine which led to some very interesting results.

Sage Northcutt took a different approach to the punching machine…

Gian Villante took to his Instagram story to mock Francis Ngannou (behind his back of course!!) whilst showing his loyalty to heavyweight champion, Stipe Miocic.

UFC welterweight champion, Tyron Woodley, bumped into his next opponent, Demian Maia climbing onto his back and claiming to be Maia’s backpack.
