Anthony Pettis eyeing UFC London card

Former UFC Lightweight champion, Anthony Pettis, is hoping to be added to the UFC London card on March 17 later this year, confirmed by his team with MMAFighting.com.

Anthony Pettis is coming off a loss to Dustin Poirier and is currently 1-1 since his return to the Lightweight division.

Showtime‘ was on a 3-fight losing streak when he opted to drop down to the Featherweight division, but after his impressive submission victory over Charles Oliveira in his first fight at his new weight class, Pettis became victim to the 10th win in the Hawaiian-born Max Holloway‘s ongoing 12-fight win streak.

Now, as he looks to get back into the win column, Anthony Pettis hopes to join UK native, Jimi Manuwa, in competing at the highly anticipated UFC Fight Night 127.

And as the promotion has yet to finalize the main event for the card, could we potentially see Pettis headlining against another top-class Lightweight?

Will Pettis get added to the UFC London card? What do you think? Let us know in the comments.
