Amanda Nunes apologises to Ronda Rousey

It's easy to say things that we don't mean in the heat of the moment...

Following Amanda’s Nunes brutal destruction of Ronda Rousey at UFC 207, Nunes was quick to take to social media and take shot’s at Ronda Rousey’s training and her coach, Edmond Tarverdyan. Nunes saw no trouble in mocking Rousey and wanted to highlight that the era of Rousey was over, and it is Amanda’s time.

“She’s  going to go do movies. Forget about her. She has a lot of money already. We have vision and a lot of talent. Forget about Ronda Rousey. I’m the real champion”, Nunes said to Joe Rogan in her post-fight interview.

Many saw these comments as below the belt and unnecessary. After all, it’s no secret that Ronda Rousey paved the path for women in MMA, including Amanda Nunes. It seem’s Nunes has recognised this and has taken to Instagram to explain her comments.

It seem’s as though Nunes appreciates all Ronda has done for the sport and explains her comments as just moment’s of adrenaline and emotion.

Are you happy Amanda Nunes seems to regret her post-fight actions? Let us know!
